I think it's perfect the way it is. This is what my professor from last semester would have referred to as "organized chaos". Even though it seems like there's too much going on, there's actually just the right amount in order for the piece to be complete.

I especially like the effects you did on the eyeball itself. It's almost like the eye is disintegrating from the inside out.

Honestly, if I hadn't noticed this was in the photomanip category before seeing it, I would have thought this was a photograph. You did an awesome job blending the stock together.

It's gorgeous. The eye - the shine on that look - it just noticed it while browsing the photomanip category and it really has something magical - this work.

And I most say - that flowers and ribbons are great here . they add the mystical element, they make the composition even more perfect. I adore the way you have used colors - so many different tunes of green - and that metallic or reflecting look on that material.

Ribbon looks kinda weird. Did you oversharpen or something? And did you smudge the flower? O-O Don't like the colors. Oh well. XD

It's okay being on creative slump. If you had more time I could have gotten you back to your feet. XD

the textures are great. the colours are different but are interesting. this has a very strong mood/atmosphere to it.

well, if you wanted to bring the attentions to the flower, it is really great, and I must really say that. Otherwise, if you wanted "us" to "first" look to the eye, the flower captured the first glances attention.
But it is brilliant, though, as you've said, the concept ain't the most original. (good to see some pieces like this)
