I wasn't going to post anything again but I really wanted to enter the Peace Contest hosted by =karemelancholia!
Part of my inspiration came from: [link] Please watch it even if you don't like Avril. It's beautiful. This is focused on the friends, siblings, parents, etc. ; basically everyone who are linked to people in combat. This represents their hope for the fighters' safe return. Yes, I did a freaking triptych again. But hey, I love 'em! The left and right "slides" actually have a continuous background (cliffs & ocean) but I decided to slide something in the middle. Hey, the horizons match!  Here's the explanation: The "slide" at the right is a representation of their wishes, slowly fading away as days pass by. The middle slide is when they regain hope again, hearing good news about those in war. They cleanse their mourning souls in the water and become new, hopeful people. The left "slide" obviously shows the solders' return. I know, it's totally cheesy but when I do art under pressure of time... this is what happens. I gotta tell you... water splashes, waves, etc. are SO HARD to blend. I think that at one point, I resorted to erasing pixel by pixel. *groans* Models: ~chove-stock - Thank you so much.
