Oh, and yes, the model + cello are flipped horizontally for artistic purposes. Normally you hold the bow with your right hand, etc.

Well, it should be pretty self-explanatory.

I began this a few weeks ago and worked on it slowly. I painted wings for the first time with this one. They looked horrible so I changed methods and it came out a little better.

I know that there are a lot of mistakes in this and I'll try to fix them one by one but I won't reupload it.

I've been low on inspiration and such so I thought that a piece on inspiration itself should help me. And it did :)

I hope that you like it. It took me a really long time to finish.

This should go in "Mixed Media" but the categories are really weird so I just stuck it in Photomanips. It's somewhere between fantasy and surreal but I chose surreal because of the obvious (and intended) disproportions of objects (the room, tree, etc.).

*cry* that posture.... either that person plays the cello like a gargoyle because they have serious back issues, or they have no clue how to play... :(
It's so beautiful too! I wish stuff like this didn't bug me, but the way she's holding that cello makes me cringe x.x

I adore everything about this peice, however. It's the stock's fault. -_-

Well, first of all, I flipped the stock. Maybe that's why it looks weird. I didn't want to deal with the lighting on the cello.
