I wasn't planning to post anything but oh well.
My mom asked me to do some more landscape focused pieces to decorate our new house... I couldn't resist putting the model in there though. This was a fun piece and made me feel happier as I completed it.
I wanted this to look like a "spontaneous" picture with some texture overlay so there is some motion blur on the model and kite.
I really like how the perspective turned out, like where the field meets the sky.
Out of interest, is this piece meant to symbolise hope in anyway? For some reason, to me, hope was one of the first things that came across my mind. Another was memento. And another was: PRETTY! This is...really really really really really superspecialawesome work; the colours are gorgeous and you did a really great job!
