This is based on the Greek Goddess Hera. Check her stories on Wikipedia if you don't already know. Anyway, the important part is that she's the marriage goddess but her own is ironically horrible. I wanted to show another side of her. She's always known for her jealousy... but seriously, Zeus sleeps around too much

Original 2400x3200px, 300dpi without the border. It took me many, many hours to make because I wasn't sure about this one. I know that the lighting is off because I added some things at the last minute. (The deadline is today...) I really focused on one overarching concept and I hope that it's obvious enough. Blending the fabric together was not as easy as it looks. I worked a lot on the "illusion" effect, with her dress casting a show over the clouds and protecting the figurines. This is one of those pieces that I'll edit when (if I ever) get a tablet.
